Install Streisand on iPhone or iPad

Streisand is published on the App Store and works on iOS 15 or newer, including iPad and Apple Silicon Macs.

Install from the App Store

Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad and search for Streisand, or follow the link from our download page. Tap Get and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.

Copy your subscription URL

Sign in at shamvpn.org, open your account page, and copy the subscription URL. iOS will keep it on your clipboard for the next step.

Import the configuration

Open Streisand and tap the + icon in the top right. Choose Import from clipboard or Add subscription. Streisand decodes the URL and lists every Sham VPN server.

Allow the VPN profile and connect

Tap the connect toggle. iOS will ask permission to add a VPN profile — accept it. Streisand stays out of the way after the first connection.

Troubleshooting

App Store will not open the Streisand page

Your Apple ID region may need to be set to one where Streisand is available. Sign out and back in with an Apple ID set to a supported region. The app is free in all regions where it is published.

Server list is out of date

Pull down on the subscription list inside Streisand to refresh — your URL stays the same. New regions and rotated endpoints are picked up automatically.
